Senior Desktop Support - Systems Administrator
Job Description
This is an ideal position for a junior systems administrator who is ready to move up to the server administration role. Depending on your experience and knowledge you will function as either Senior Desktop Support or Systems Administrator. Either way, you’ll be responsible for delivering Microsoft solutions at our clients’ sites, working with organizations of all sizes.
Unfortunately (for us), because of the nature of our business we’ll only keep you busy about 80-90% of the time. What you do with the extra days is up to you – but we’ll keep paying you regardless. We call these Beach Days, but you might call them Family Days, Get A New Certification Days or Hobby Days. The choice is yours.
Required Skills
Candidates should have experience with the following:
• Windows XP
• Windows Server, Active Directory, User Administration
• Exchange Server
• Outlook
• VPN
• Anti-Virus Software
• Ghost
• Veritas (Symantec) Back Up Exec
Experience with the following would be a big plus:
• Linux
• Solaris
• Cisco Unity
