Exchange 2003 Operation Support Analyst
Job Description
If you are Sr. level Desktop Support or entry-level Windows/Exchange Systems Admin who would like the opportunity to work on one of the largest installations of Exchange in the world, Coyote Creek Consulting wants to talk to you. We support Exchange 2003 for global enterprises, and were looking for ambitious professionals to join our team to support large-scale Exchange environments that are running at least Windows 2000 Active Directory and Exchange 2003.
Our support center is responsible for more than 150 Exchange 2003 servers supporting more than 100,000 mailboxes.
We operate 24x7x365 days per year.
This position requires working shifts including nights.
Our innovative work hours allow our Exchange Operation Support Analyst to maximize their free time every week, in order to achieve work/family balance and pursue other interests.
As the Exchange Operation Support Analyst you will be responsible for the administration of Windows 2003 and Exchange 2003 messaging infrastructure located at facilities across U.S., Europe and Asia, including testing, deployment, troubleshooting and maintenance. Specifically, your responsibilities will include:
• Maintaining and managing public folders, mailboxes, and distribution lists architecture.
• Resolving all Level 2 & 3 escalation issues, and establishing development, system changes, or procedures to prevent further problems.
• Researching new methods for enhancing performance and reliability.
• Creating and maintaining detailed documentation.
• Performance optimization tuning and capacity planning efforts.
• Clean up, directory synchronization, mailbox archiving, addition/deletion/cleanup of email accounts and IDs, and all related Security issues.
Required Skills
Candidates must have:
• Entry-Level knowledge of the Exchange architecture.
• A good understanding of Windows Server.
• Excellent communication and troubleshooting skills.
• A desire to learn and willingness to follow procedures.
Qualifications:
• B.S. and/or MS in Computer Science is strongly preferred. MCSE is a big plus.
• 1 - 2 years experience with Windows 2000 & Exchange Infrastructure
