Account Executive
Job Description
Coyote Creek Consulting is looking for a highly entrepreneurial Account Executive who has a genuine interest in new and emerging technologies to develop IT infrastructure professional service/consulting sales opportunities with both new and established customers across all industries within a defined territory. Information technology professional services/consulting experience is required. Responsibilities include:
Developing and implementing a plan for the territory and maximizing revenue potential.
Creating new business from initial account planning and inception through engagement closure by implementing corporate and regional sales strategies.
Achieving your sales quota and assessing additional business opportunities within the territory.
Initiating customer contacts and following up on leads for new business opportunities in the commercial sector.
Making formal sales presentations and arranging product demonstrations (either web-based or face-to-face).
Applying significant knowledge of the client's business operations, resources, and direction to sell solutions comprising hardware, software, integration services and manufacturer maintenance.
Coordinating the involvement of appropriate sales support personnel (e.g., sales management, systems engineers, and marketing).
Maintaining professional relations with customers during the entire sales cycle, and ensuring responsive customer service after the sale.
Investigating and responding to customers' technical product questions or needs.
Coordinating sales activities through indirect channels (partnering relationships) with sales management.
Staying abreast of new product introductions, technological/industry advances, and market/territory developments. Maintaining a consistent level of technical readiness, as defined by sales management and technical training support.
Required Skills
Candidates should be results-oriented self-starters with integrity, excellent communication skills, and a “customer first” attitude. In addition, candidates must have experience and skill in the following areas:
Selling IT professional services or IT software and solution sets across targeted prospects/client organizations.
Managing relationships, engaging prospects/clients, maintaining strong credibility.
Developing, establishing and managing influential networks with targeted prospects/ clients in order to strengthen knowledge of the business, industry, and geographic practices.
Identifying, developing, negotiating, and successfully closing new engagement agreements with clients that encompass hardware and software products and value-added solution sets.
Developing moderately complex, multi-service, multi-year service partnerships with high potential for repeat business.
Initiating and influencing internal resources to effectively coordinate targeted sales and business development efforts in a team-based sales approach.
Qualifications:
Candidates must have:
BA or BS degree
Minimum 3 years sales experience, with a strong understanding of consultative and solutions selling
